The International Symposium with the title "Global Challenges and International Social Work" will take place on the 29th of June, 2.30 pm – 8 pm.
The key note speeches will cover the topics of international social work in the 21st century: challenges and opportunities, social work and social policy in a changing Europe and social work and social development in Africa.
The key notes will be followed by four interactive workshops.
The international symposium is organised in the framework of the PROSOWO II project, a cooperation between the Carinthia University of Applied Sciences and five East African higher education institutions, aiming at the promotion of professional social work in East Africa.
